Everything you need to get up and running with MelpApp.

We’re Here To Help

Getting Started

  • 1.

    Download MelpApp on your mobile iOS or Android device.

  • 2.

    Register your account by entering your company email and password into the login screen.

  • 3.

    Once inside the app, upload a picture of yourself by selecting the camera icon. You can either choose an existing photo from your phone or elect to take a new picture.

  • 4.

    Write a short description about yourself to let colleagues know the real you.

  • 5.

    You’re ready to go! Start communicating and collaborating with colleagues!

Choosing An Action

  • 1.

    Choose an action by selecting the lightning icon (located in the bottom right corner of most pages).

  • 2.

    From here you can select Call, Message, Email, Group Call, Group Message, Group Email, Create Group and Locate User.

One-On-One Calling

  • 1.

    Tap the lightning icon.

  • 2.

    On the following screen, tap the “Call” icon.

  • 3.

    Initiate the action by selecting a user from your contact list—choose from your entire contact list, recent history, or simply locate someone by searching their country, state, city, department, title or their online availability!

One-On-One Messaging

  • 1.

    Tap the lightning icon.

  • 2.

    On the following screen, tap the “Call” icon.

  • 3.

    Initiate the action by selecting a user from your contact list—choose from your entire contact list, recent history, or simply locate someone by searching their country, state, city, department, title or their online availability!

    Email

  • 1.

    Tap the lightning icon.

  • 2.

    On the following screen, tap the “Email” icon.

  • 3.

    Initiate the action by selecting a user from your contact list—choose from your entire contact list, recent history, or simply locate someone by searching their country, state, city, department, title or their online availability!

Creating Groups

  • 1.

    Tap the lightning icon.

  • 2.

    On the following screen, tap the “Create Group” icon.

  • 3.

    Enter your group’s name, description and profile picture.

  • 4.

    Select the “Add User” button in the bottom left corner.

  • 5.

    Choose colleagues from your contact list; when everyone is selected, press “Add User” in the bottom right corner of the screen.

  • 6.

    Select the “Save”.

  • 7.

    You’re all set! Visit the “Groups” tab at any time to find your newly created group.

Group & Conference Calls

  • 1.

    Tap the Lightning icon—located on the bottom right corner of the home page.

  • 2.

    On the following screen, tap the “Group Call” icon.

  • 3.

    Select the created group you wish to speak to and begin talking!

Group Messaging

  • 1.

    Tap the Lightning icon—located on the bottom right corner of the home page.

  • 2.

    On the following screen, tap the “Group Message” icon.

  • 3.

    Select the created group you wish to speak to and begin talking!

Group Email

  • 1.

    Tap the Lightning icon—located on the bottom right corner of the home page.

  • 2.

    On the following screen, tap the “Group Email” icon.

  • 3.

    Select the created group you wish to speak to and begin talking!

Locate User

  • 1.

    Tap the Lightning icon—located on the bottom right corner of the home page.

  • 2.

    On the following screen, tap the “Locate User” icon.

  • 3.

    Find colleagues by refining search criteria like country, state, city, department, profession or their online availability!
